I was surprised when I decided to pursue Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Some people know what they want to be early on, but for me it was a gradual process. When I was in dental school I volunteered at a free clinic where I was able to practice taking out teeth and help the community in Cleveland, Ohio. I enjoyed my time there, mainly because I was able to provide relief to someone who was suffering. This was and continues to be so rewarding to me, I love my work as an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon.
