Todd C. Liston, DDS, MS

Todd Liston received his Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University, his doctor of dental surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/ Medical College of Virginia in 1989 and completed a four year residency training program at Ohio State University in 1993.  Dr. Liston also passed a thorough written qualifying examination and rigorous oral certifying examination to become board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1997.

Dr Liston cares for trauma patients by repairing facial fractures, facial lacerations and other injuries.  He is well trained in the reconstruction of malformed faces caused by growth disturbances of the jaw, mouth, and face.  He removes impacted, damaged or decayed teeth.  Dr Liston manages patients with cancer of the oral and maxillofacial areas.  He treats severe infections of the oral cavity, salivary glands, jaw and facial bones, and adjacent regions of the head and neck.  He also prepares the gums and ridges to enable dentures to fit better.  He places dental implants where teeth have been removed or are missing.  Dr. Liston can also correct temporomandibular joint problems that cause facial and oral pain.  He corrects and repairs bones and soft tissues damaged by trauma or pathologic conditions, and may perform reconstructive  surgery in the facial region for cosmetic purposes.  He also administers four types of anesthesia ranging from local anesthesia to general anesthesia.  Dr. Liston has hospital privileges at Lakeview, Ogden Regional Medical Center, and McKay Dee.
